Tina among her wool goodies |
December 3, 2019 SUFA Meeting
Minutes
Our
annual Pot luck was held at this meeting. Everyone (but Shannan) enjoyed having
dinner together. So many wonderful dishes were brought in by all.
Our
guest speaker was Tina Cox. Her company is called Eye Full of Wool: Eye Full of Wool Website.
Tina brought many samples of her felted hand dyed wool patterns and
kits. Her colors were magnificent. She talked about how she started
her business and where it is at today. We all had fun shopping after
the presentation. She works out of her home and will let the group
know when her next Open House will be.
Rosemary
reminded us to bring in our 11” x 12” (approximate size) to the
next meeting. These will be displayed in a Gallery in St. George.
Sleeve must be on the back of your piece. Don’t forget your name
must also go on the back.
Lynne
reminded us the Pillow Challenge is due at the March 2020 Meeting.
Nickie
made some wonderful needle threaders that she offered to all of us as
a gift. What a nice special surprise. Thank you Nickie.
And some pictures:
If you have any information about the pictures, please leave a comment. I would love to know more about the gorgeous quilt which appears to be comprised of the most adorable transferred drawings mostly done by children. Love. If nobody comments, I will track down the info at the meeting in January!
Be well. See you at January's meeting. Bring your deposit for the Joe Cunningham Wkshop. Spots will fill fast.
